Tokyo, Japan

I take an expert's method
and turn it into a business in Japan.

Ads, landing pages, funnels and video. I build the whole road, not one piece of it. Six years, more than 200 companies, almost all from referrals.

What I do

Most marketing is built in pieces.
I build the whole road.

An expert has knowledge. They rarely have a product. My work is to turn that knowledge into something people can buy, and then build the road that brings people to it.

I do every step myself, with a small team. Nothing is handed to another agency.

01

Strategy

Who buys, why, and in what order they need to hear it.

02

Ads

Meta and YouTube. I have spent enough to know where money leaks.

03

Pages & video

Landing pages, sales videos, webinar scripts. Written, designed, edited.

04

The funnel

ClickFunnels, and LINE instead of email. In Japan, that part is different.

In numbers

200+
Companies I have worked with. Hospitals, schools, publishers, government offices.
2 years
How long clients stay with me, on average.
Almost 100%
Of my clients come from referrals. I have never made a cold call.
1,300+
Graduates of the video editing school I run.
160,000+
Followers on an Instagram account teaching Japanese to people abroad.
1 patent
A measuring device used in nursing and rehabilitation facilities. No. 7085095.

Some of the work

A doctor
An online school, built from nothing. She had 180,000 followers and no product. We built the school: ten hours of video, a hundred recipes, and an app. We made the ads, the pages and the videos.
Video editing school
About ¥100 million a year. Editors cannot win jobs because they have no track record. So students borrow the track record of a 20-year-old production company. Recruiting cost: zero. ¥150,000 in ads returned ¥8.8 million.
Lymph massage school
¥180 million in total. Course built and webinars launched in one month. Five webinars brought ¥15 million. 1,036 members joined a ¥10,000-a-month online community.
Branding course
¥120 million in total. Started from zero by teaching new graduates how to present. ¥30 million in the first year, now steady at ¥5 million a month.
Beauty influencer
Six straight months over ¥10 million. Selling a product to an audience of 300,000 subscribers.
Dental clinic
From 58th to 3rd on Google Maps in 14 days. New patients up 30%.
Hotel in Gifu
3,000 visits and 100 enquiries in the first month. Search and map optimisation.
Tax accountants
¥15 million from one online seminar.

Figures are Japanese yen. ¥100 million is roughly US$650,000 at today's rate.

What I am looking for

I want to bring good methods into Japan,
and take Japanese culture out.

I run ads on Meta and Google every day. A few years ago I noticed something. All of that money leaves Japan. None of it comes back in. So I set a goal: earn from outside Japan, not only inside it.

Partner type 1

You have a method that works.

A program, a system, a curriculum — something you have already proven at home.

  • I translate it and adapt it, not word for word
  • I find the Japanese business that needs it
  • You stay where you are. Your method works here
Partner type 2

You want to sell to Japan directly.

Japan does not buy the way your home market buys.

  • We give first and sell later. Trust comes before the offer
  • We use LINE, not email. Almost everyone here has it
  • A translated landing page does not work. It has to be rebuilt
I am not looking for clients abroad.
I am looking for two or three long partners.

Outside of work

Most of what I know about people,
I learned outside the office.

Kickboxing

I train people two hours every week as an instructor. I also hold a C-class professional boxing licence from my student days.

A festival every October

I run a festival in Tokyo for people from abroad, through a non-profit called Sake of Peace. This year, Japan and India.

Teaching Japanese

With a friend, I run an Instagram account that teaches Japanese to people overseas. More than 160,000 followers.

Two rescue cats

We adopted them at a rescue event. My wife works as a VTuber.

Where I am from

Kagoshima, in the south of Japan. I have lived in Tokyo most of my life.

An expensive habit

I buy online courses. I have spent about ¥6 million on them. It is how I learned this trade.
